Our pet camp is designed with
your pet's needs as a
top priority. Our philosophy is that dogs need exercise and
socialization, with both people and
other
dogs, in order to relieve excess energy and the stress of being
away from home. A tired dog is a happy dog!
We have found that dogs which
are able to play in group settings with large areas to romp have
a much better boarding experience with less stress and also have better
appetites. This helps to make a more enjoyable vacation for
both you and your pet!
Jean Reeves, owner, has been
involved with dogs in various activities and events since 1986.
Her daughter, Miranda, joined in shortly thereafter. We have
raised some of the top White Shepherds in the country, training
for therapy work, obedience, agility and herding.
Miranda is a Purdue graduate
with a BS in Animal Behavior and Well Being and is our resident
trainer. Rescue work is also one of Miranda's priorities and we
usually have one or two dogs of various breeds available for
adoption.
Royal Acres Farm consists of
60 acres, 40 of which are wooded and make an excellent area to
exercise the dogs. It is also the home of 12 White Shepherds, 2
Pugs, 4 horses, 40 cows, 12 sheep and 6 cats.
